Looking for someone to care for your precious pet can be stressful, trying to find someone you feel you can trust not only with your pet but also you're home, there seems to be so many 'pet services' out there so how do you know which one to choose?

With over 25 years professional experience I offer a bespoke service, based on my commitment to providing the very best in pet care, when you need it.  Putting pets before profit you will find I am extremely affordable, dedicated and will keep you updated with photos, videos and messages while you are away so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and healthy in my care. I not only have many, many years of experience both personally and professionally, I am fully insured and have excellent references. What I offer :

​

Pets cope much better when they stay within their home environment, following their usual daily routine, it can be extremely traumatic for them to be within strange surroundings with people they don't know and without the people they trust most. The service I offer means that your pet can continue to relax at home, without any stress, be loved and cared for as if they were my own, without any stress.  I often become 'part of the family' building a relationship with you and your pet.  I will always be there whenever you need me, giving you total peace of mind in the knowledge not only am I taking care of your precious little one, but also you're home too.

My visit includes first and foremost saying hello and making a fuss of your pet (if he or she like attention) if you have a timid cat I will arrive quietly and let him or her come and say hi when they are ready.  I will then clean their food, water bowls, and clean around the area where they eat and drink, I will replace their food and water then clean their bedding, litter tray and sweep around to make sure everywhere is tidy.  If your pet likes a brush and some attention, maybe a wander in the garden or similar then we will spend time together.  I will water any plants you have, take in any packages and post, open and close curtains, turn light on and off to give the impression the house is occupied, make sure all waste is put in you're outside bin, put out your bin on collection days.

I will send you photos, videos and updates most days to let you know how things are going and ensure that you're home is clean and smelling fresh when you return.  After care ends I can either retain you're key for future care and/or in case of any emergencies, pop back to drop the key off when you return or put it in an envelope and put it in you're letterbox after the last visit.

How much do you charge?

​

I have always put pets before profit and have always tried to keep my charges affordable.  I do not charge for meet and greet appointments, key collection and drop off or mileage.  

​

There are absolutely no hidden fee's so you can be assured you will not find additional costs added to the total cost of care, I also do not charge extra for general Bank Holidays only for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day which is double my normal charge of £10 per visit. This includes absolutely everything you need.  I do ask that you ensure you provide enough food, bedding, litter, treats etc for the duration of care, if you do not have enough supplies you will be expected to pay for any items your pet needs and a £5.00 fee for travel/organisation expenses.

Payment is expected either before care begins, 50% before and 50% on the day after care ends or in full the day after care ends.  This will be discussed during our meeting.

Emergencies :

​

I am thankfully that I have never had to use any emergency contact BUT I do ask my clients for an emergency contact in case I cannot get hold of them and need to speak to someone urgently regarding your pets health or an issue with your home.  Again, I have luckily never had to use the emergency contact but it is important in case of any emergencies.

What happens after I make an enquiry?

​

I will confirm if I will be able to help with the care you need then arrange a date and time to visit you, your family and your pet to discuss your needs.  This will give you the opportunity to get to know me, ask any questions you have and decide if you will feel comfortable with me taking care of your pet while you are away.

About me :

​

When I was a little girl in Chiswick, London my dad took me with him when he went to walk a neighbours dog, a poodle.  I was about 4 years old and I remember how much I loved it, I just felt to happy, chatting away with the doggie and making sure he was OK and enjoying his walk with me and my dad.  I have always had an affinity with animals, loving them, taking care of them and wanting to protect them so it was natural for me to take care of other people's pets, it is, I believe my vocation and I am completely devoted to the pets I care for.

​

I have two cats, two rats, four chickens and a number of fish.  I have also had many different  types of pets throughout my life including budgies, an African grey parrot, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, chipmunks, gerbils, fish, reptiles and dogs.  I have professional experience of looking after every type of pet you can think of which is one of the reasons why I love what I do so much.  I get to spend time with so many different pets taking care of them and getting to know them and their families.
